Lido Vizzutti lives in Missoula, Mont., and has been working as a professional documentary, commercial and editorial photographer.

After graduating with a degree in photojournalism from the University of Montana, Lido moved to Tennessee where he worked as a staff photographer for the Chattanooga Times Free Press. While there, he was recognized with the Award of Excellence for his coverage of troops returning from Iraq from the Society of Professional Journalists as well as a second-place award from the Tennessee Associated Press Managing Editors board for his Body of Work in Photography.

After a briefly traveling abroad Lido returned to his home state where, in 2007, he became a founding team memberm of the Flathead Beacon, a daily online and weekly print newspaper in Kalispell. As a visual leader for the Beacon, Lido aided in growing the news magazine into an award-winning publication. He has been recognized by the Montana Newspaper Association for his achievements in sports, feature and news photography.

In 2013, Lido left the Beacon to start a freelance career with his wife and fellow photographer Jessica.

In 2018, Lido was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Montana, School of Journalism.

Along with being a journalist, Lido is currently, “Staff Advisor, Marketing & Press,” for the Montana Council, Boy Scouts of America.
